Gregory Weathers, who was before Superior Court Judge Robert Devlin Tuesday, waived his right to a jury trial. Weathers is facing murder and firearms charges after his arrest shortly after the March 26, 2015, shooting, the CT Post says.
Authorities say he became upset when Jose Araujo, a foreman at a Burns Construction job site on Chopsey Hill Road, told Weathers to check with the office to see whether any jobs were available. The court case was continued until November, the CT Post reports.
